Critically acclaimed maverick director Mikhail Red was excited to answer the T-Zone's question if the subject of his Metro Manila Film Festival entry, "Deleter," exists in real life. The techno-horror flick, which he also wrote, revolves around a brooding media content moderator portrayed by Nadine Lustre, who initially seems unfazed by her daily task of deleting graphic uploads.

"Yes, a deleter is a real job," he confirmed. "I've read articles about it as far back as when Facebook started. You wonder, when something gets deleted there, who does it? Who decides? It can't be an AI [artificial intelligence], so somebody is really watching the content.
