Consumer inflation slows, factory prices to rebound

BEIJING: China's consumer inflation decelerated in November as market supply increased, while factory gate prices registered month-on-month growth, official data showed last Friday.

The consumer price index (CPI), a main gauge of inflation, fell 1.6 percent year on year last month from October's 2.1-percent uptick, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said.
