Filipina gets critics' nod for Best Supporting Actress, earns Golden Globe nomination

THE Philippines' very own veteran actress Dolly de Leon has won the award for Best Supporting Performance at the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards 2022 for her breakout role in Ruben Östlund's dark comedy 'Triangle of Sadness.'

The winners were announced on Monday, December 12, wherein De Leon shared the recognition with fellow Asian actor, Vietnam-born Ke Huy Quan of 'Everything Everywhere All At Once.'
