THE authors of House Bill 6398 have decided to delete the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) and the Social Security System (SSS) from the list of "founding government financial institutions" (GFIs) of the proposed P275-billion Maharlika Investment Fund (MIF). That should reshape not only the bill but also the fabled facade of the new government.
