Ginebra barges to semis

Veteran playmaker LA Tenorio stepped up big time in the clutch as he powered Barangay Ginebra to a 99-93 win over NorthPort, sweeping its quarterfinal matchup, 2-0 and advancing to the 2022-23 PBA Commissioner's Cup semifinals in the process on Saturday at the Philsports Arena.

Tenorio finished with 14 points, lacing it with four triples, the last of which gave the Gin Kings a 97-85 lead heading into the final two minutes as he masterminded their back-breaking 10-0 bomb en route to the series sweep.
