DAGUPAN CITY, Pangasinan: Presidential sister and Sen. Maria Imelda Josefa "Imee" Marcos distributed an estimated P3 million worth of financial assistance to 1,000 residents of Manaoag, Pangasinan through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development on Thursday, December 8.
The AICS is a social safety net or a stop-gap mechanism to support the recovery of individuals and families from unexpected crises such as the illness or death of a family member, calamities, and other crisis situations.
