THE low pressure area (LPA) off Sorsogon affecting Metro Manila and adjoining provinces may develop into a tropical depression in about 12 to 24 hours, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa said on Saturday.
According to Daniel James Villamil, Pagasa weather forecaster, the disturbance was last spotted at 215 kilometers east of the municipality of Juban, also in the same province.
