DTI urged to build industry cluster

MAGSAYSAY Group of Companies Chief Executive Officer Doris Magsaysay-Ho said an industry cluster that builds an ecosystem of suppliers is needed to reach the full potential of the country's ports.

Magsaysay-Ho urged the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to develop industry clusters that would bring economies of scale. Current economic zones had been created with little regard for their proximity or remoteness from shipping ports.
