ERC meets DUs on high power rates

THE Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) is meeting with distribution utilities (DUs) nationwide in a bid to find solutions to address rising power rates.

In Davao, ERC and Department of Energy representatives recently held a consultation to discuss the impact of higher generation charges traced to a spike in global coal prices.
