PBA fans who are accustomed to seeing Tim Cone wearing long sleeves and tie during game day found it strange to catch the Barangay Ginebra mentor sporting a black polo shirt in the PBA Commissioner's Cup playoffs.
On Wednesday night, Cone, along with his battery of assistants, reported for duty in all black during the Gin Kings' 118-102 dumping of the NorthPort Batang Pier to grab an early 1-0 series lead in their best-of-three quarter final setto at the Philsports Arena.
