Where art thou, my adobo?

THERE are three Filipino restaurants in the Boston area for the 25,000 Filipinos who live in Massachusetts. And then there are three separate lists of the '15 Best Thai restaurants in Boston' from Boston Magazine, Eater and TimeOut. However, there are nearly three times as many Filipinos in Boston compared to Thais. While I love a good massaman curry, is it really that much more globally appealing than adobo?
