THE government has not closed its doors to the resumption of peace talks with the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army (CPP-NPA), Carlito Galvez Jr., presidential adviser on peace, reconciliation and unity, said on Thursday.

Galvez said the President wants localized peace talks with the communist rebels to continue under his administration as he finds it more effective than past strategies.
