THE Romblon State University (RSU) recently received recognition from the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) for its concerted efforts performed as an institutional partner in the three-year implementation of its Department of Science and Technology Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DoST-PCIEERD)-funded project titled Smarter Philippines through Data Analytics, R&D, Training and Adoption (Sparta).

RSU President Merian Catajay-Mani and Vice President for Administration and Finance Tomas Faminial represented the university during the agency's 3rd Online Recognition Ceremony with the theme, 'Celebrating Future Data Experts,' via Zoom on Nov. 29, 2022.
