San Miguel takes 1-0 lead vs Converge

San Miguel Beer had its guns blazing from the get go, building a massive 31-point lead before coasting to a 114-96 triumph over Converge in their 2022-23 PBA Commissioner's Cup best-of-three quarterfinals duel on Wednesday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

With June Mar Fajardo, import Devon Scott and CJ Perez leading the Beermen's offensive juggernaut, SMB demolished Converge, which failed to flash its trademark choking defense under new coach Aldin Ayo.
