Surprise inspection at Manila port yields P63M in frozen meat

THE Department of Agriculture (DA) said at least P63 million worth of smuggled frozen meat products from Hong Kong and China were seized at the Manila International Container Port following a surprise inspection of container vans carrying the produce.

According to the DA, the frozen meat products were registered under the consignee Victory JM Enterprise.
