THE stock market and the peso staged a recovery on Tuesday with investors said to have been heartened by inflation and growth forecast reports.
The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) added 232.25 points, or 3.61 percent, to close at 6,674.38, while the broader All Shares gained 73.79 points, or 2.17 percent, to end at 3,477.72.
