Petro Gazz sweeps Cignal, takes second straight PVL title

Petro Gazz defeated Cignal, 25-17, 22-25, 25-12, 25-22, in Game Two to sweep their best-of-3 Finals series and clinch its second straight Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference title on Tuesday at the PhilSports Arena.

American reinforcement Lindsey Vander Weide unleashed 19 points to lead the way for the Angels and seize the Finals Most Valuable Player plum, while Myla Pablo delivered 17 including the championship-clinching hit in the fourth set.
