HWPL inaugurates peace monument in Bulacan

THE Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) unveiled a peace monument during its inauguration and blessing held at Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) on December 1. This project was carried out through the close collaboration of the HWPL, Commission on Higher Education (CHEd), and Volunteer Individuals for Peace. In line with their motto, 'Shaping Minds, Transforming Lives,' BASC is the first and only state-run higher educational institution of agriculture in Bulacan as they expressed their commitment to shaping the minds of the students and faculty members as peacemakers in the campuses and the workplaces. The program commenced with a prayer and blessing of the monuments led by Rev. Fr. Angelito S. Santiago, Parish Priest of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish. It was followed by the ribbon cutting represented by CHEd Commissioner Dr. Ronald L. Adamat, Dr. Jameson H. Tan, president of BASC; and Mr. John Rommel Garces, chief branch manager of HWPL Philippines.
