A RANKING official of the Department of Agriculture (DA) on Monday said that the department is preparing a case against traders behind the entry of P34 million worth of smuggled white onions.
In a radio interview, Agriculture Assistant Secretary and Spokesman Kristine Evangelista said that the DA Field Inspectorate Office was tasked to identify those behind the illegal entry of imported bulbs and the filing of the appropriate case against them.
