Hovland leads wind-whipped Hero World Challenge

MIAMI: Defending champion Viktor Hovland fired an eagle and four birdies in a two-under par 70 on Friday (Saturday in Manila) to take a one-shot lead in the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas.

Norway's Hovland, trying to join tournament host Tiger Woods as the only back-to-back winners of the unofficial, 20-player event, highlighted his round with a hole out for eagle at the par-five sixth.
