Ward recalls fond memories of stint in PH

Retired American PBA import Joe Ward admits the Philippines holds a special place in his heart.

Playing for the league's most popular ball club Anejo Rhum (now Barangay Ginebra) back then, Ward remembered with fondness the strong bond he had with his teammates, the imports he faced, his close interactions with then playing coach Robert Jaworski, Sr. and the legion of 65ers fans who came in droves to pack the Ultra (now Philsports Arena) every time they play.
