UP's Malick Diouf set to be crowned as UAAP season MVP

Malick Diouf of defending champ University of the Philippines (UP) is set to be crowned as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 85 men's basketball tournament.

After the elimination round, Diouf, who hails from Senegal, registered 10.79 points, 10.86 rebounds, 2.86 assists, 1.57 blocks, and 1.50 steals to accumulate the league-best 73.857 statistical points (SPs).
