GLOBAL real estate management firm Colliers sees project occupancy in Metro Manila or the National Capital Region (NCR) to hover above 50 percent by the end of 2022 from 44 percent in 2021.

Research Associate Director Joey Bondoc said this is backed by improving leisure spending and return of more Filipinos from abroad for the holiday season. Also, the firm also sees average daily rates rising by about 8 percent in 2022 after recording a combined drop of 20 percent from 2020 to 2021.
