MONETARY authorities will continue tightening policy with a reversal likely in the fourth quarter of next year, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Felipe Medalla said on Friday.

In an interview with Bloomberg, Medalla reiterated that a smaller 25- to 50-basis-point (bp) increase would likely be ordered on December 15, the Monetary Board's final meeting for 2022.
