THE Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) said it is now finalizing the implementing rules and regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 11898, or the 'Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Act of 2022.'

DENR Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB) Director William Cuñado added that a final consultation was held in Quezon City and was attended by at least 650 representatives from nongovernment organizations, the academe, sanitary landfill operators, training organizations, plastic industry associations and corporations, and local government units.
