AN official of the Department of Agriculture (DA) on Friday denied that the government plans to import more frozen pork amid opposition from a farmers' group.
In a radio interview, DA new deputy spokesman Rex Estoperez also confirmed a statement by the Samahang Industriya ng Agrikultura (Sinag) president Rosendo So that there were at least 113 million kilos of imported frozen pork products in various cold storage facilities.
