Musk signals new 'war' against Apple

SAN FRANCISCO, California: Elon Musk on Monday (Tuesday in Manila) opened fire against Apple over its tight control of what is allowed on its App Store, saying the iPhone maker has threatened to oust Twitter.

The social media platform's new owner also joined the chorus crying foul over a 30-percent fee that Apple collects on transactions via the App Store, which is the sole gateway for applications to get onto its billion-plus mobile devices.
