Cignal advances to PVL Finals

Cignal advanced to the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference Finals despite losing its last game in the round robin semifinals to defending champion Petro Gazz, 14-25, 21-25, 27-25, 25-19, on Tuesday at the PhilSports Arena.

The HD Spikers strangely clinched the first finals berth in the tournament after winning the third set, 27-25, which assured them of having a superior set ratio regardless of the result of the contest.
