The Philippines dropped its third straight game in the Men's Softball World Cup, losing to powerhouse Cuba, 3-1 on Monday in Auckland, New Zealand.
After holding the fort in the first two innings, the Cebuana Lhuillier-backed Blu Boys allowed Cuban Yesander Rodriguez to score a home run in the third inning. This sparked the offense of the 12th ranked Cuba as Anibal Vaillant scored another run for a 2-0 lead.
