Cheap rice available at 'Kadiwa ng Pasko'

Cheap rice will be available in 'Kadiwa ng Pasko' centers on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 as part of the efforts of the government to provide consumers access to affordable agricultural products, an official of the Department of Agriculture said.

Assistant Secretary Kristine Evangelista said at the Laging Handa briefing on Monday that consumers can buy rice for P25 a kilo. The 'Kadiwa ng Pasko' will run every payday until December 31, 2022.
