(UPDATE) HEALTH workers staged a die-in "national day of protest" at the Department of Health's (DoH) headquarters in Tayuman, Manila to call for the immediate release of their benefits.
Robert Mendoza, president of the Alliance of Health Workers, said they had to go to the street again to air their grievances, noting that there are "no significant and remarkable changes in the deplorable condition of health care workers" under the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
