9 regions still affected by ASF

(UPDATE) THE Philippine Association of Feed Millers Inc. (Pafmi) on Tuesday said that at least nine regions in the country are still affected by the African swine fever (ASF), adding that the recurrence of the said viral disease, bird flu and the rising price of raw materials has affected the feed industry.

In a forum on the key challenges in the agriculture industry organized by the Management Association of the Philippines and attended by various stakeholders, Pafmi Vice President Roderick Hernandez-Ramirez cited the crucial role of feed mills industry in agriculture and fisheries development.
