SEVEN bills that will provide monthly pension, financial assistance and allowance to indigent persons with disabilities (PWDs) were approved at the committee level of the House of Representatives on Wednesday.

The Special Committee on PWDs formed a technical working group, led by Quezon City 3d District Rep. Franz Pumaren, to consolidate House Bills 1754, 3256, 4211, 4250, 4548, 5071 and 5498, which were authored by Reps. Eric Go Yap, Lex Anthony Cris Colada, Franz Pumaren, Ivan Howard Guintu, Ernesto Dionisio Jr., Kristine Alexie Tutor, and Bernadette 'BH' Herrera.
