Abra families face relocation

VILLAVICIOSA, Abra: The municipal government is ready to transfer at least 32 families here to a temporary relocation site after being displaced from their previous community, which was declared a 'permanent danger zone' by the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

'Anytime, we will move them to the place. Our people are just completing the installation of the water system and the electric connection,' Mayor Jose Lagen said in a media interview recently.
