There's a Filipino anywhere and everywhere. And for those who have resumed travels abroad whether for work or leisure, it is always a joy to bump into a "kabayan" in a foreign land.

I'm sure for most of us, these encounters also tug at the heartstrings, what with seeing and feeling the intense longing of our OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers) for home. They may be living in more prosperous countries worldwide, but it is never easy to be away from family for so long, even with the invention of video calls and Zoom.
