Bay Area stops Hotshots, grabs solo lead

Import Myles Powell and Song Weizhu supplied the much-needed offense down the stretch as Bay Area held off Magnolia's fourth-quarter rally to pull off a 95-89 win to grab the solo lead in the 2022-23 PBA Commissioner's Cup Saturday night at the Philsports Arena in Pasig.

Powell banged in 32 points, built around five three-point shots as he mocked the defense thrown at him by Magnolia coach Chito Victolero.
