The article names individuals from the bank and makes serious allegations on its processes. We would like to express our deep concerns about this article, which we view as not written in good faith and contains false and accusatory claims against the bank and its employees. While the bank respects and upholds journalistic integrity at the highest level, we will not hesitate to call out incorrect information and irresponsible claims.

We reviewed the case internally, noting the correct process was followed by the internal team, and we communicated with the parties involved on the necessary requirements going forward. The facts of the case demonstrate that the bank has complied with the regulations set by the BSP and will continue to update them on this case.
