THE former spokesman of the inter-agency task force on anti-insurgency defended statements she posted on social media against a Manila judge as an exercise of her 'freedom of expression and of the press'.

Loraine Marie Badoy of the National Taskforce to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) had asked the Supreme Court to recall its show cause order as to why she should not be cited in contempt for her comments on social media where she accused Judge Marlo Magdoza-Alagar of the Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 19 of lawyering for the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) and its armed wing, the New People's Army (NPA) and for threatening her.
