NU downs UE, closes in on semis berth

National University (NU) took down University of the East (UE), 70-61, to close in on a Final Four berth in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 85 men's basketball tournament on Thursday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

JP Palacielo came through with 10 points on a 5-of-5 shooting from the field to lead the way for the Bulldogs.
