THE Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) has pledged support to the initiative of Reynaldo Galupo, Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) commissioner in-charge for the National Capital Region (NCR), who seeks to augment the PCUP's workforce in the fulfillment of its mandate of serving the country's marginalized and underprivileged sectors, particularly the urban poor.

Not leaving a single stone unturned in his quest to ensure success for the PCUP in its performance of serving the less fortunate members of the citizenry, the NCR commissioner met with Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba, DoLE Bureau of Workers with Special Concerns executive director, to discuss the possibilities of availing the Labor department's Government Internship Program (GIP) and Special Program for the Employment of Students (SPES).
