'Celebrate festivals to revive tourism'

BACOLOD CITY: The provincial government of Negros Occidental is encouraging the 31 local government units (LGUs) in the province to celebrate their respective festivals to attract more tourists.

Lawyer Rayfrando Diaz, provincial administrator, on Monday, November 14, said Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson is already supporting all tourism-related activities such as the highly successful MassKara sa Panaad event which was held last month during the MassKara Festival.
