THE Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday announced the seizure of more than 8,000 unregistered guns following an intensified crackdown against loose firearms.
In a statement, PNP chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. said the guns of various types and caliber were among those seized in different police operations nationwide from July to October 8 or the period since he assumed the leadership of the national police.
