SRA: 135,618 MT of imported sugar arrive

AN official of the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) on Monday said that 135,618 metric tons of the 150,000 MT imported sugar allocation have arrived.

SRA Board Member and Planters' Representative Pablo Luis Azcona added that of the total imported sugar authorized under Sugar Order (SO) 2, at least 70,717 MT allocated for consumers and 64,901.7 MT for industrial use entered the country as of Nov. 6, 2022.
