CAMP VICENTE LIM, Calamba City: Philippine National Police chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. lauded the PNP drug operating units for the successful operation on Saturday, November 12, in Barangay Buhay na Tubig, Imus City, which led to the confiscation of P251.6 million worth of suspected illegal drugs and the arrest of two big-time drug peddlers.

Citing reports from BGen. Narciso Domingo, director of the PNP Drug Enforcement Group, and BGen. Melencio Nartatez, police director of Region 4A, Azurin announced the arrest of Datu Ali Sampulna, male, 38, jobless, and Almira Sampulna, female, 30, married and an online seller. Both suspects are residents of Cotobato City.
