PRESIDENT Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. appointed tax lawyer Romeo Lumagui Jr. as the new commissioner of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Malacañang confirmed on Tuesday.
Lumagui, who previously served as the agency's deputy commissioner, took his oath on the same day.
