Altas oust Heavy Bombers in NCAA

UNIVERSITY of Perpetual Help System Dalta tightened its defense in the fourth quarter that helped the Altas beat the Jose Rizal University Heavy Bombers, 72-60, in the NCAA Season 98 men's basketball tournament on Sunday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.

Protecting a two-point cushion, Perpetual Help held JRU to just 10 points while scoring 20 in the payoff period that allowed the Altas to get their sixth win in 15 games so far this season.
