Taiwan gives aid to 'Paeng' victims

Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines (TECO) Representative Peiyung Hsu, on behalf of the government of Taiwan, donated $400,000 to the Philippines as a disaster relief fund to assist the people affected by the recent Typhoon Paeng.

Chairman and Resident Representative of the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) Silvestre Bello 3rd accepted the donation on behalf of the Philippine government at a hand-over ceremony in TECO on November 11.
