PLDT stays in hunt for semis spot, boots out Akari

PLDT stayed in the hunt for a semifinal spot after making quick work of Akari, 25-11, 25-21, 25-19, in thePremier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference on Thursday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

With the victory, the High Speed Hitters snapped a four-game slide to rise to a 2-4 slate, sixth in the standings. It also booted out seventh running Chargers (2-5).
