BACOLOD CITY: Operators and drivers of public utility vehicles (PUVs) without franchises and permits in Bacolod City got a two-week respite from the city government, Land Transport Office-6 (LTO-6), Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) and the Bacolod Traffic Authority Office.
For the next two weeks, PUVs with expired permits and franchises will not be apprehended, according to acting mayor El Cid Familiaran. He announced the decision on Wednesday, November 9, on behalf of Mayor Alfredo "Albee" Benitez who is in isolation after testing positive for Covid-19 on Monday.
