THE United States Agency for International Development (USAid) donated P23 million ($392,000) worth of early grade reading materials to the Department of Education (DepEd) in Bicol, according to the US Embassy in Manila.
USAid Deputy Assistant Administrator (DAA) LeAnna Marr led the handover of the books during her visit to the Philippines from October 17 to 21 to strengthen US-Philippine partnerships in the education sector.
